Successful Disability Opportunities Program

The Successful Disability Opportunities Program provides persons with disabilities a greater access to employment opportunities with the State.

Applicants must be a customer of the Division of Rehabilitation Services and a person with disabilities as defined by the federal Americans with Disabilities Act to qualify for the program.

Vocational Counselors will complete a detailed narrative and include any titles the applicant is pursuing. The narrative will be placed on record with the Disability Resource Center to complete SD enrollment and verification. (A detailed resume is requested.)

An agency may request the SD eligible list when there is a vacancy to be filled by other means.

To enroll, contact DHS Department of Rehabilitation Services to establish a Vocational Rehabilitation case. Locate the nearest office.

DHS Vocational Rehabilitation referral can also be completed online. Submit the Form.
